I won’t try to claim any one program is better than the others.

The Honors Summer Math Camp (HSMC) is similar to the ROSS and PROMYS programs in that first-year students work on Number Theory proofs (quadratic reciprocity being one of the big goals).

One big differentiating factor about the HSMC is that we assign students into Study Groups, and campers work on the proofs in those groups. Each group is guided by an undergraduate mentor (counselor).

Returning students (if you’re attending for the second or third summer) have the opportunity to conduct original math research with university professors. Many students have submitted their research into high school research competitions.

If you have any more specific questions, just ask!
