<p>JMU has a large sports following, and club/IM sports are pretty big too. However, JMU has something for everyone and I’m sure there’s plenty of students who don’t follow sports.</p>
<p>In regards to physics, all I know about the department is my physics teacher in highschool did her undergraduate at JMU, I know she did her graduate at UVA so I assume JMU’s department has enough of a name if she got into UVA grad.</p>
