runnhit – I believe you have located an error with the JHU Online application. I have contacted one of the adcoms and they will be looking into the matter.

What I do know is true is that the financial aid forms on the link I provided (http://apply.jhu.edu/finaid/finaid.html) are the correct forms for applicants to the Class of 2010. The “Freshman and Transfer Application for Financial Aid” supplement is a form that was used last year.

This year to apply for financial aid Hopkins now requires:

(1) FAFSA form
(2) CSS / Financial Aid Profile 2006-2007 (replaces the old supplement)
(3) Federal Income Taxes for 2004

I suggest you use these pages in filling out your financial aid application. Once I hear back from the adcoms about the current supplements with the online app. I will let you know.
