I have a 4.14 UC GPA, a 4.32 uncapped UC GPA, but a 3.8 UW 10-11 GPA and a 1420/1600 on my SAT. I know my stats aren’t great, but I feel that my ECs and personal insight should help me a bit. Do you think that applying undeclared may have put a negative effect on my Berkeley admissions chances? Are my stats too low for social sciences? Thanks.
In 2015, frosh applicants to Berkeley with 3.80-4.19 UC-weighted-capped GPA had a 12% admit rate. L&S is the largest division, so its admit rates should not be too different from the school overall.
L&S accepts everyone undeclared, so it shouldn’t make a difference.
