My daughter is still waiting. Everyone that tested with her (small group) has received their scores. 8-|
Still havent got my scores
and I have this message.
We’re sorry. We know you are anxious to see your scores, but they cannot be viewed at this time.
We have received and processed your answer sheet, but there are still some quality assurance steps to complete before your scores can be reported. This includes resolving situations such as incomplete test form information on the answer sheet or test administration questions.
We will add scores each week as these situations are resolved, usually each Wednesday and Friday. Our goal is to report all scores within 8 weeks after the test date.ACT will notify you by email when your score report is ready.
@vanihbam I think you posted this the 10th time!
As I first said, wait till 12th June. If you still do not get your result call ACT. They will help you in your query then.
@vanihbam Why DO you keep posting the same exact question? For heavens sake, pick up the phone and call the ACT. They will give you some answers.
I got a 36 on science and finished the section with about 10 minutes to spare.
Number one thing is to go to the questions and then go and look for the answers through the graphs. Only read that is required for each question as each part has so much unnecessary information in it. Most people seem to feel time is the worst part of the science part. If you feel like you’re totally lost or the question is overly complicated, move on and come back if you have time. Finally get an ACT practice app on your phone and do science questions a few minutes everyday. It really requires almost no science knowledge, you just need to learn how to quickly interpret and decipher data from graphs. Good luck!
@zain SD and @Desie1, lol sorry guys, I called act a couple times they said that they just choose people at random to process for quality assurance. The reason I keep posting is to see if anyone else comes across this problem, and if they have I can know when I can expect my scores. Cuz it kinda sucks if I have to wait till June 12th
@vanihbam Oh, sorry - I thought you just kept posting the same thing without ever calling them! It seems kind of strange that they would just randomly check for 'quality assurance" and hold up your scores. Did other kids who tested with you get their scores? Were there any irregularities, like the desks not being far enough apart, etc? Is there any reason they would have to think your scores are suspect, like if you are expecting a big score increase from the last time you took it?
Getting that message must be so annoying! I’m crossing my fingers for you that you get your scores tomorrow (Friday) when they come out again. If not, you should ask to speak to a manager and see if you can get any additional information.
@desie1 well, they keep insisting that its just a random quality assurance check, and everyone else I know from my test center received their scores, and it cant be a big score increase issue because this was my first time. Thanks for wishing me luck, hopefully I get em tomorrow.
@vanihbam @desie1 my daughter must be in the random quality assurance check too. @vanihbam did they tell you it would be June 12th or could it be a date release up to June 12th?
@sophmore1 they told me that it might even be available tomorrow(slim chance) but basically just keep checking every wednesday and friday, probably won’t be june 12th unless theres a huge issue with the test
Finally got the multiple choice score at 8:35 a.m. EST today!!!
Yay, I got an 11 on the essay!
Hey so I feel like Im not gonna get my scores for a while, so can someone post what they think the curves are for english, math, reading and science based on their MC scores and how many they think they got wrong. This way I could at least get a general idea of my score
@vanihbam I got a 30 composite with the following subscores:
English-- 27 (got 10 wrong AT MOST)
Math-- 28 (not sure why it’s so low, since I always ace math, but probably 10 wrong)
Reading-- 32 (I am sure I got 2 wrong and guessed on one other question)
Science-- 33 (I got one wrong for sure, and bubbled in something random for the last question, so 2 wrong)
English/Writing: 28 (11 on the essay, the only score that I am really content with)
Hope this helps!
@henrhg1 so talking to other people, the english curve seemed really good this time, so I think u probably got more than 10 wrong to get a 27. I heard science curve was also really good since it was so hard. Idk about math
@vanihbam The English did not seem to be hard, not sure how I got a 27; maybe, I did get more than 10 wrong! Not sure who told you that Science was hard, but the usual curve is that if you get one wrong, your score is a 34, and if you get 2 wrong, you get a 32. Since I got a 33, I am guessing I got two-three wrong. Also, the science section was not that hard.
@herhg1 I only took 1 practice test b4 I took it so I thought the english was harder on this test than it was on the practice test I took, and I guess Im just not good at science, I got confused a lot. Hopefully there is a good curve in science tho.
English: 33 (3 wrong)
Math:34 (no idea)
Reading:34 ( might have been 2 or 3)
Science: 35 (so 1 wrong)
@henrhg1
You definitely got at least 4 or 5 wrong on Reading.
@Chrysanthemum14 Maybe, who knows? It’s just I felt really confident about the reading section. I am so curious about this test, since I heard many people saying it was harder compared to other ACTs. I sent ACT the Test Information Release Form just to see how many I got wrong.
I’ll post here once I get the booklet with the answers.
