@S0undandtheFury Funny, I got a composite 31 and a 6 on the essay. Spent all my time studying the test, I really thought the essay was somewhat meaningless. I also thought I could get an 8 or 9 without much effort…surprise, surprise.
Got my scores. I was freaking out!!!
34 composite
35-35-36-28
Meanwhile on the SAT bio subject test scoring 30 points from perfect after 2 weeks of cramming, ACT science hates me.
Can’t complain though,
Good job everyone!!
I got my scores finally too!!
C: 33
E: 33
M: 29
R: 36
S: 34
Essay: 8
Overall I am VERY happy about the scores and am glad to be done. The only thing I am slightly disappointed about is my math score and only because I am an engineering major and felt my math score would be one of the strongest. I actually thought I did really good on it, but it was my lowest score. I am hoping that won’t be looked at in a negative light when I apply for STEM scholarships - anyone have any input on this?
Again, I’m super happy with the results overall.
I am taking the ACT tomorrow and I need someone, a savior, to tell me about the new format of the science section (6 passages instead of 7). What do the 6 consist of? Is it 2 D, 3 RS, and 1 CV??
Can anyone who used PR 1296 tell me the difference between their scores on the actual test vs practice test in the books?
I didn’t use PR’s 1296 that much. I didn’t think it was that helpful. However, in the Red Book I would mostly score 29-31 and ended up getting a 32 on the real thing (I was .25 points away from a 33).
