<p>You’ll get credit toward your diploma, but the tests will not exempt you from any distribution requirements. Whether or not the tests will allow you to pass out of a class depends on the department. You should get a whole run-down on AP credits during orientation; and, if you miss that information, your class dean (a wonderful resource at all times) and department chair will help you figure out what your AP’s can do for you.</p>
