I was in the class of 1979, though I graduated a half year early. My husband is also an alum (older than me). We were not called Jacksonians back then as it was all one. I loved Tufts. As I said, my daughter (the one going into arch) loved it too but ultimately chose Brown which she loved a great deal. I spent six years in Boston (living either at Tufts or in Cambridge). So, she’s now in Cambridge. OK, so next year, you could take a ride over to MIT and get a first hand account from her. She just finished her first year today. So, let me know next year if you want her contact information. She applied to ten schools and got into six of them and visited all six and has seen some of the others as well. So, she may have some insights having gone through the process. She recently spoke to Brown students seeking architecture as an alum (she had been a leader of the architectural studies major at Brown).</p>
