Here in the south you can qualify to play on the senior ALTA tennis team at 45. I refuse.
Any time I think of doing something more than face cream I watch “Botched” on E! and that cures me. Along the lines of watching “Hoarders: Buried Alive” when I need to clean the house, lol.
I just switched dentists because she asked me if I wanted Botox. I frowned at her (because, natch, no botox) and said “but you’re a DENTIST.” How is injecting poison into my face in any way related to teeth?
No. Not in my view. I do use organic products because I don’t like slathering tons of chemicals on my face.
I have almost no wrinkles and it isn’t because of my products. It’s genetic. Sigh - now if I only still had the 21 year old body.
It is really about not baking your skin in the sun (though we need some), not smoking or drinking (much, anyway - if you do), getting enough sleep, and genetics.
Everything’s a chemical, TranquilMind, whether it’s organic or not.
@TranquilMind - Maybe you don’t really want that 21 year old body. Face or Fanny - take your pick:

I think genetics is a huge component in aging. Luckily I have good genetics. Despite that, I still spend on anti-aging stuff. It’s probably not a sign of great maturity, but it makes me happy when I look good and feel good.
I am a dinosaur here, well past full retirement age. My skin is very dry. I use the same lotion on my face as I use on my body. It is important for my skin to have an oatmeal as one of the main ingredients. I found very cheap lotion in the Dollar store. I apply lotion to my face and hands multiple times / day. I do not wash my face aside from taking shower. I do not believe that any cream will prevent wrinkles, so I use what feels good and in my case it requires the oatmeal as a main ingredient and I cannot stand anything that smells. Aveeno for babies is the best for me, but it is very expensive. Dollar store version of Aveeno works for me just fine!
