Any of the top six UC’s are excellent choices, no questions asked. You will get quality education there. You’re from a California Community College huh? May I ask which one? You should also consider CSU campuses like Cal Poly SLO and Pomona, CSU Fullerton and Long Beach and San Diego State. The Cal states consider local admission too and are not bad choices, good backup in case you don’t get into your dream schools. Also, what’s your major?
Well, you are moving you and your family for a period of 21 months somewhere, possibly even shorter if you attend summer sessions. The move itself will involve costs. It is quite expensive to move for a short time, anywhere. Perhaps reconsider where you could manage to spend less than 2 years.
@Ryanjingle… My daughter just transferred there for same field of study… It is also on the net… She goes to Beloit. Wisconsin is like Michigan which my son goes to. Beloit is a small Lac but great academics and kids that think out of the box and higher intellectual thinkers… Not saying Michigan is not but Beloit is very integrated which is nice to experience and more hip, cool and very friendly.
Haha yes OP, we have yards in Columbus! Yes OSU is an urban campus but Columbus is not that big of a city and there are plenty of neighborhoods surrounding campus. I think you could definitely find campus housing with a yard for less than $2000.
