<p>The eating clubs are a “pervasive” part of Princeton social life precisely because the majority of them are non-exclusive. It would be rather difficult for a large percentage of Harvard students to be part of finals clubs given that one needs to be nominated for consideration and then approved to be accepted into any of them. Clearly, the more elitist a system is, the fewer people it will include.</p>
