The grades look fine for many schools. Have you taken the SAT and potentially the TOEFL? You will also need to research the schools you are interested in to see if they will accept foreign students for a bachelor’s degree in a second subject. There may even be schools that will grant a second degree on an accelerated basis.
I was a partner at a large international law firm practicing corporate law. For lawyers in foreign offices practicing local law, they just needed local qualifications. For foreign lawyers wishing to practice in the US, they all had either a US JD or occasionally a US LLM, but the foreign lawyer had to pass and be admitted to the bar of the state of the office they were based in. Patent practice is pretty specialized and you should do some serious research on the additional qualifications required for both certification and what potential employers will require.
