Yes, mine is about 70 lbs. Of course the pieces weigh less (4 of them). Sometimes I set it up by myself, and carry it one piece at a time to where I want it. Sometimes I wait for the kids and make them carry them.
One thing I like about it is that it stands up straight without adjusting, tying, wiring, etc that the natural trees always needed. Just put it together, and it stays put!
I got a tree this year from balsam hill. It was expensive, but is very high quality. We got the “flip tree” which is ridiculously easy to set up, comes on wheels and includes two very high quality storage bags.
We used to have trees that were heavy and in several pieces. We sapped for a much smaller, lighter one and tho the kids grumble that it’s so tiny, not likely to go back to huge one again as we would have to store and lug it around. The small one is about 4 feet and just right.
