<p>I think you are fine…since you have been active/passionate in all aspects of your violin. Yes, it would be great to be international or national competition winner…but, very very few achieve those levels in most instruments. It all comes down to how many violinists are applying this year…and how many actually submitted a music supplement (to complement) with their application as opposed to those who were too lazy to put together a supplement as you did…</p>
<p>…as you know, violin, piano, and cello are the dominant glamour instruments that so many Asian students in particular pursue and excel in…so the challenge is to somehow “outshine” the other applicants with similar endeavors…</p>
<p>…and this is where your essays, recommendations, your personality, and your performances will make the difference…</p>
