Court: The dance program is absolutely excellent. Some of my good friends are in the program and they are, to a one, bafflingly talented. It’s not easy to get in, by my understanding, so hat tip to you for that. Of the faculty I’ve had a chance to meet, they’re very knowledgeable and capable, although I must confess to being an abysmal dancer and thus having limited experience dealing with those professors.

gclauds: Yes. You’re given a chance to pref roommates when filling out the on-campus housing survey. As I’ve mentioned before, Facebook is a helpful tool when getting to know people before meeting them face-to-face. I met both of my roommates that way.

Your numbers look fine. SAT might be a bit low but I’m no adcom. If you think your application looks good, you’ve done all you can.

Last thing: “On campus”, not so much, because the Orange municipal PD and Public Safety crack down pretty hard on parties-- and because students living on campus are almost exclusively underclassmen and thus below the drinking age. But house parties are very much a thing. There is no “Christian aspect” to Chapman. It’s nominally a Disciples of Christ school, but apart from the Interfaith Center on campus-- which, to my knowledge, hosts more Hillel events than anything else-- there isn’t a hint of religious obtrusion.

Hope this helps!
