<p>I plan to drive from Swarthmore (where my younger daughter is currently enrolled) to Amherst, MA for Thanksgiving. Her classes end at 12:30 and we are flyng in from NCal, where we live, to see Swarthmore the night before and then loading her up and driving N to have a family Thanksgiving.</p>
<p>My older daughter (who graduated from Amherst last year just told me that we need to avoid the route recommended by GOOGLE, because it goes too close to NYC and
?drive way west and then go North). The alternative was described as the equivalent of driving back and forth across LA for 10-12 hours at rush hour, i.e., untenable.</p>
<p>So if you know a good way to do this, please let us know. I’d be glad to offer alternative routes for the W. Coast for anyone whose kids went the other directionfor college.</p>

<p>OJ did it. End of story. Somehow he wasn’t convicted in the criminal trial, but he was in the civil trial. So he had to pay money to the family for hurting them emotionally b/c he did it, but he wasn’t convicted of a felony.</p>
