<p>Probably a month ago when I was suddenly consumed with fear that I would be rejected from Chicago. That fear has not waned, but I have succeeded in burying it under the usual mixture of teenage angst and indifference…and calculus. </p>

<p>The last time I cried was a couple of weeks back. Im off at college and my parents kept emphasizing some stuff about my dire financial situation when I was already aware of it and they knew so too.
I understood that they were just worried and wanted to make sure that Iwas aware of my situation but it kind of hurt me to think that they had some sort of impression that I didn’t care. A little silly. But true.</p>
