no not all. just curious. 17 is pretty young for college though I do know a guy who is at yale and still hasnt turned 18.

what is the driving age in dubai?

eh, im tired. you don’t have to answer the question and if you dont here is another one for everybody else

do you have a job?

HOLY CRAP! WITHIN 20 MINUTES TIME THERE’S ALREADY BEEN LIKE 1028340 POSTS IN THIS THREAD. (okay, not that surprising, but still at a time like this?)

avseahawks,
I’m from San Dimas, that one city that was featured in the movie ‘Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure’ :p

here’s a good question:
Have you seen Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure?

No, (avseahawks, I’d left the comp, so I couldn’t answer), the driving age’s 18, nope, as a resident who’s an expatriate I’m not allowed to work officially. I’m involved in quite a bit of work in school though, although I officially graduated a few weeks back, so that keeps me busy :)

What’s Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure about? (Apart from being about Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure of course :D)

Couldn’t tell you. I’m assuming…although you’ve already mentioned this, that it’s about an excellent adventure. I’m sure it’s both excellent and adventurous.

If somebody called your cell phone ‘just to talk,’ would you rather them leave you a voicemail or not and why?

Yes. Then I wouldn’t listen to it. I have a Tracfone so “just talking” costs like 20 bucks.

Also, Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure, starring Keanu Reeves and some other dude, involves these two characters travelling through time and picking up famous historical figures so that they can use them in their social studies project and pass high school.

What’s your favorite kind of bean?

haha… what a question! i’d say chickpea (is that even a bean?)

what is the scariest dream that you’ve had?

ummh maybe that I was dead…

where are u right now?

in my bed. I am lazy.

Have you ever dreamed about Princeton? I just had a dream that I got a crazy acceptance package.

Sure I have! :)

Sitting at the comp. In Dubai…

25.2697?N 55.3095?E if you’re interested. :)

When’re you going to start refreshing madly? ;)

4:55ish, unless I have to race around 5 (I have a track meet), in which case whenever I can.

What’s the temperature where you are (?F) It’s 65 here, supposed to get up to record or near-record highs.

30 degrees Celsius here. In your lingo: 86.

It’ll head up to 45 ish degrees C soon as summer hits. (Currently the start of summer here, 7:24 in the evening)

45 –> 113

Might hit 50 if we’re unlucky…

What’s the highest temperature you’ve ever experienced?

ummh it is 20?C right now- like 68 F

favorite food?

Ah, difficult really. I’ll say Lasagna. :)

Favorite TV Show?

Grey’s Anatomy.

what kind of car do you drive (or train do you take or bike do you ride)?

No trains here. (Bike’s get you killed through traffic, and it’s illegal for me to drive a car :))

How did you find CC?

Google, I was looking for something college related and made the discovery.

Would your application be different without CC? I know that I learned a lot of important things from this website.

Not really. CC helped more with the waiting than with the actual app. Besides, I’ve spent more time on CC after sending the apps than before.

Has CC affected you?

I use CC only to brood over my applications and sneak at chances threads to worry myself. Never found anything extremely helpful for my application, but there are some eye-opener threads that helped!

Have you ever heard of the Indian Institute of Technology aka IIT?

definitely, considering I’m an Indian :)

D’you plan on joining an Eating Club if accepted? (or does this fall in the realm of question that should wait till the the 29th? :))
