<p>I like the one’s that sound funny when they’re translated literally into another language. I can’t think of any at the moment, but I remember hearing a funny French version of an English expression.</p>
<p>What’s your favorite brand of shoe?</p>
<p>Hmm. Good question. I kind of prefer barefeet to shoes, and since it’s warm enough to wear flip-flops for 10 months out of the year here, I usually wear Rainbow flipflops (a brand, not a color). Otherwise, I love Salvatore Ferragamo and designer shoes like that. </p>

<p>Hopefully she’s really fun and will want to share clothes and dance around while we’re getting ready to go out and stuff. But…who knows. Geez, I’m such girl. </p>

<p>Because of their crazy unpredictable admissions methodology which leads to the rejection hundreds of highly-qualified applicants (I’m sure you’re one of them) every year.</p>

<p>I don’t even really remember what it sounds like, I just remember watching the music video and being supremely confused until I realized that Beyonce was not morphing herself into a shorter blonder person, but that it was actually Shakira.</p>

<p>How can colleges accept more students than actually attend, as in, yield–Brown accepts 2500 and 1500 usually attend? How do they know!!!</p>
<p>I don’t think they know…I think they just try to predict. I know some small schools accept WAY more students than they know they have places for, because many students have been using that school as a safety. HYP and the like probably admit fewer extra students because they are so desirable and their yield rates are so high.</p>
<p>What is the school you feel worst/guiltiest about turning down?</p>
<p>cornell… eventhough i’m not sure, but it’s very likely i won’t attend.</p>
<p>What is the school you feel worst for being rejected from?</p>
<p>I’m not a senior yet, but when I do apply, I’d probably feel the saddest if I got rejected from a safety. I mean, if it’s a top school, I would be able to understand that they found a reason to reject me, but with a safety… </p>
