<p>NJSue, thank you so much for this great advice! I’ve got an unused folding rack just hanging out in my laundry room, so I will send that with her. Hadn’t thought about the lack of good sledding trays, either. Those were a staple in my college days. Natick Outdoor Store (just west down the road from Wellesley–on North Street about two blocks up from 135) has a lot of cheap saucers and innertubes but you can’t wait until the snow falls to get one, as they sell out early.</p>
<p>D is also a singer and pianist, and hopes to join some type of musical group, so I’ll remind her to bring her sleeping bag.</p>
