Ask Joli.Hauteur A Question!

Do I never paint or draw either?

Hehe. Nope.

Am I artistically impaired?

Apparently. I am, too.

Which song from Dear Catastrophe Waitress have I been singing all day?

Is it oddly fitting?

Which song from Dear Catastrophe Waitress have I been singing all day?

If You Find Yourself Caught In Love

Is it oddly fitting?

Yes.

Close, but not quite.

Belle or Sebastian?

Should I change my iPod’s name to Peppard?

Belle or Sebastian?

Sebastian.

Should I change my iPod’s name to Peppard?

Yes!

should I go out now, even though it’s really windy, and a sand storm is expected to blow our way any second now?

Do I think that Steve II (my iPod) is dying?

Is he an old school iPod?

Will I miss the old school-ness when I get a new one?

Out of all of Delicious Punctuation Mark Boy’s quirks, which do you love most?

If I were Holden Caulfield, would I say that I was getting a bang out of that question?

Did you really hate The Shins when you first heard them?

Is it possible for there to be a hole in your cheek?

Did you run out of words today?

Aluminum or glass?

Do you like to clean?

Not all the time, but sometimes?

Like once you get started, and it becomes really cathartic?

Did I write “because” instead of “becomes” at first?

Is my brain just giving up?

Since it’s the second semester? And I’m a senior?

Oh, also-
Was the song “Wrapped Up In Books,” Snoopy?

And it because really cathartic?

How would you rate the purity?

Yeah.

Why do my Yeahs come out like Yeh?

Whoo.

Do you know how I guessed that that is the song? Because that song sums up my romantic history, and we’re kind of similar in that way.

Is that funny?

Aren’t I?

But not really, right?

Were you thinking much about dreamy DPMB today?

Am I doomed to hear how much OMG everyone OMG loves OMG Jessica Alba?

Why is she famous?

Am I bitter?

But not really, right?

How are my hives?

How was your day?

should I go out now, even though it’s really windy, and a sand storm is expected to blow our way any second now?

Absolutely not. Sand storms are deadly, I would imagine.

Do I think that Steve II (my iPod) is dying?

Yes.

Is he an old school iPod?

Yes.

Will I miss the old school-ness when I get a new one?

No! I love my new one.

Out of all of Delicious Punctuation Mark Boy’s quirks, which do you love most?

His wit, definitely. He’s very fast and hilarious.

If I were Holden Caulfield, would I say that I was getting a bang out of that question?

Haha, yes!

Did you really hate The Shins when you first heard them?

Nope, I heard them in Garden State and I was like “Omg, who is that??”

Is it possible for there to be a hole in your cheek?

It’s possible, sure.

Did you run out of words today?

Never. But I had a panic attack.

Aluminum or glass?

Glass.

Do you like to clean?

Yes, I do. I’m a neat-freak.

Not all the time, but sometimes?

Mmhmm.

Like once you get started, and it becomes really cathartic?

Yes.

Did I write “because” instead of “becomes” at first?

Yes.

Is my brain just giving up?

Nah.

Since it’s the second semester? And I’m a senior?

Oh, definitely.

Was the song “Wrapped Up In Books,” Snoopy?

Apparently. I didn’t catch it though, so I leave my honest answers.

And it because really cathartic?

She fixed it.

How would you rate the purity?

I need a scale.

Why do my Yeahs come out like Yeh?

Because you’re Southern.

You and I or you and Snoop? My romantic history cannot be compared to anyone’s…honestly.

Is that funny?

Hilarious.

Aren’t I?

You have your moments.

But not really, right?

Haha.

Were you thinking much about dreamy DPMB today?

Mmm, yes.

Am I doomed to hear how much OMG everyone OMG loves OMG Jessica Alba?

She has no talent. She’s just really, really ridiculously good-looking.

Why is she famous?

See above.

Am I bitter?

Maybe a tad.

But not really, right?

Nah.

How are my hives?

Better.

How was your day?

It was good. I had a slight panic attack, though. But I’m okay. Still smiling. And I had a good hair day, sooo…

Why did you have a panic attack?

Do you realize I’m in no way southern?

That southerners say ‘yeeeuh’ and mine sound more like ‘yih’?

Is normal vastly overrated?

Snoopy and my romantic history.

But is my romantic history really more of a combination between “Wrapped Up In Books” and “If She Wants Me?”

Did I choose “Wrapped Up In Books” because I tend to flirt with the guys I like for ages but never really make a move?

And “If She Wants Me” because the guys never realize that I like them, but always go to me as the “reliable friend,” and only come to like me once I’m over them?

Are these my allotted self-absorbed questions?

Will the questions after this only be about you?

So, are you obligated to give me more than a “Yes or No” answer? (This answer, however, should be answered with a “Yes.”)

Why did you have a panic attack?

I was sitting in AP Calc. Next to four really obnoxious guys. And we were doing integrals. And integrals, seriously, are just squiggly lines to me. They hold no significance or higher meaning. I don’t care about integrals. So whatever. So my teacher starts talking about how she “only lost one” student at the semester (he dropped the class). And I was like…I need to do this…I have to get out…

And I sat and I privately freaked out. And then I asked to be excused to the counseling office. And I’m in the process of possibly taking another AP class online so I can drop calculus. I already took the equivalent of a year anyway. UGH.

Do you realize I’m in no way southern?

Aww.

That southerners say ‘yeeeuh’ and mine sound more like ‘yih’?

Apparently.

Is normal vastly overrated?

Definitely.

But is my romantic history really more of a combination between “Wrapped Up In Books” and “If She Wants Me?”

Definitely.

Did I choose “Wrapped Up In Books” because I tend to flirt with the guys I like for ages but never really make a move?

Mmhmm.

And “If She Wants Me” because the guys never realize that I like them, but always go to me as the “reliable friend,” and only come to like me once I’m over them?

That sucks.

Are these my allotted self-absorbed questions?

Haha, terribly. But they’re interesting.

Will the questions after this only be about you?

Yaaay.

So, are you obligated to give me more than a “Yes or No” answer?

Yes.
