I would, but I don’t have enough space on my computer for all 6 seasons. I was looking for some kind of blog or something like this except with shows that I can just watch, I don’t need to keep them.

Mike,
Is cyberspace really infinite? Or will it be used up sooner or later?

Mike,
Don’t you think that the whole idea that Blank CDs become read-only after the first time you put stuff on them is the stupidest thing you’ve ever heard of?

Mike,
there’s this kid who’s lieing about his SAT scores. Can you give me some ideas on how to make him confess that he’s lieing? (Other than blackmail)

Does it look bad to major in Chemistry and double minor in CS and Econ? Should I try to double major Chem+Econ and take a few electives in CS? Does it really matter what I do at the end of the day?

Learn what you want to learn. If your majors come in two unrelated fields, so be it. My mom was a dual math and studio art major and now is a lawyer. Do you love doing and do it well.

I’m using an old version of Windows and my computer is not equipped with Microsoft Word. I only have the basic wordpad which is screwing up my text documents. Are there any programs on download.com that are free and similar to Microsoft word. I used RudPad and Wordweb and those suck as well. Any other program recommendations for typing essays etc.?

Dear Mike:
Should I start playing NetHack again?
It’s the best computer game ever. I used to play it for roughly three to six hours a day. I quit thirteen days ago due to addiction and lack of study time and have had two NetHack-related dreams since then. (It’s very strange when you’re talking to an elderly couple from Florida and suddenly a huge purple @ pops out of nowhere and tries to kill you.) But since then I haven’t studied that much more, and I’ve spent much of my NetHack time posting here…and I’ve considered several times that I wasn’t really addicted to NetHack, just procrastination. So…since NetHack is an awesome game anyway, should I just keep playing it?

And what happens when I go to Caltech and people have actually heard of this game and start playing it with me?

If it matters, my family has a history of roguelike addiction. :D

Ah, If you are at caltech, I’m sure someone will have heard of that game. And since you are a woman, I bet you can find 5 guys there who are just as obsessed with it as you were. Caltech guys will use any excuse to try to aviod thier social awarkwardness. If Nethack makes you happy, and you don’t screw up your life, then do it.

I need a program similar to Microsoft Word, that is free and for Windows 98 Second Edition (If that even makes a difference) not Windows 2000 or XP.
