I just read your “Chance me Profile” and saw that your startup generated 100k. What startup did you launch and how did you go about it?
Also, Congratulations on getting in to Stanford. More than you deserving them, I think they deserve you as a freshman.
Im not going to go into specifics about my startup so that i can remain anonymous online. Hopefully you understand. I basically identified a problem in my community and then commercialized it.

Hello! I am going to be a senior this year and Stanford is my number one. I feel that I have pretty solid stats to back me up, however, fall short when it comes to awards. As for my ECs, I participate and put a lot of time into many music-related activities, but don’t really hold many leadership positions. I’m wondering if leadership is a must-have or if it’s more important for them to see that an applicant is involved, passionate, and makes an impact.
Also, I plan to major in bio (aiming for med school eventually) and will actually have 3 years of Bio when I graduate. I’m afraid that there will be some disconnect since most of my ECs are music-related. This is mainly because there are very few STEM clubs at my school. I was actually planning on starting one, but my plans were hindered because of COVID. Thank you for any advice you can give!
