Zaphod, I heartily concur.

There are a half-dozen or so folks here who have turned this forum into an ego-stroking power trip, and have virtually disabled it for its original purpose - to inform and assist current and prospective mids.

What could be a valuable resource for far-flung high school students, working their way through the maze of acronyms and paperwork, has degenerated into a stupid battle of wills between people who, as far as I can discern, have no legitimate “day jobs”.

It is ridiculous and embarassing to see adults over the age of 30 acting like immature adolescents with their first MySpace pages. Time and again, I have watched as candidates or mids appeared on this board, made a few posts, and disappeared without really getting any concrete assistance.

I wouldn’t be proud to be in a USNA parent’s club with any of you, and I think you should all be ashamed of yourselves.
