@doschicos, this is one of the most disturbing recent news stories.
Outrageous.
He was never accused of any sexually inappropriate behavior personally and I don’t think he was ever convicted of any crime…he probably needs a job. If anything he got axed because of his proximity to Ailes and very little more and was replaced by another person who was also accused of the very same actions of cover-up but promoted. Do you honestly think he should never be employed in his career field ever again when many, many people are on record as to his job performance? If so, I’m just speechless…which is rare. So he took the fall while an alleged co-conspirator did not, so now he’s got a new job with a new organization. Nothing here newsworthy nor gag worthy in my opinion.
It’s somewhat ironic to suggest that Shine might never have been employed in his career field ever again, given that he was probably hired at least in part because his new boss thinks he has the correct attitudes about sexual harassment.
Shine knew about the harassment at Fox and looked the other way. No she shouldn’t have a job at the White House.
Do I really think he should never be employed in his field, just because for two decades he enabled powerful men to assault their underlings, covered it up, and retaliated against the women who dared to complain? Um, yeah. And I don’t find this a close call, either.

Thank for posting this. According to another report, his partner and their young twin daughters were also there. He looks so very casual about grabbing her in the video, just a quick feel on his way to the men’s room, maybe? So very proud of young women like her setting an example. So sad it’s necessary.

The most recent allegations seem to have drawn mostly yawns. Leslie Moonves and Keith Ellison. One not fired. The other selected in the primaries for Attorney General of Minnesota. Has the MeToo movement already run its course?
No I think the mainstream media has just gotten smarter about not believing everything in Twitter World and extreme bias journalism and are starting to fact check more carefully so you aren’t going to see as much breaking shock and awe stories about who did what to whom.
Pilot would post stalkerish photos of a flight attendant. United Airlines did not take action despite her providing dates, IP addresses and information.
These photos were posted for at least ten years, even after he had agreed in court to stop and she was awarded $100,000.
The FBI took action and the pilot is serving a lengthy sentence. After his arrest United granted him long term disability status. One month after pleading guilty United allowed him to retire with full benefits.
The EEOC has filed a lawsuit against United allegeing discrimination and permitting a hostile work environment.

I think if Ellison’s accuser provides the video she claims to have (but then didn’t release), his fortunes may change.
Yup agree on the alleged video. She had a long term relationship so I have empathy for her if she didn’t leave the relationship but it isn’t “news” without some fact checking. It was a tweet and ya gotta wonder who took the video if they were both in it. Doesn’t take a genius journalist to sit back and say “wait a minute.”
