What is the admission process? In many places, even the most elite Catholic prep schools (my son is currently a student at one) have an exam or very specific process. Anyone who scores well on the exam and meets the requirements is in. In my area, you have to register for the exam by a certain date or you can’t take it and that is earlier than would be intuitive. The first thing you should be doing is seeing exactly what is required for admission to the school of your choice and what the dates are. Everything else is decoration until you know that.
We plan on going to open house next month. According to friends at school, exams are at end of 7th grade. Will find out more during open house.
