<p>Pohsmom, last year the airport area/surrounding area was undergoing construction. We flew in the night before (into GSO), rented a car, and got somewhat lost (it was very dark and I lost track of which way was East, West, North and South :D), as the directions I had printed on my computer on beforehand did not “include” the roads that were closed because of construction. Although this construction may be way over, I still highly recommend adding the expense of renting a car that includes a GPS gizmo, or if you have one of those TomTom’s
at home to bring that with you. </p>
<p>This actually applies to most schools that are located in areas you are not familiar with. I generally made out ok with Yahoo printed directions, but I am the first to admit I don’t have the best of “Girl Scout” instinct in this regard, and so we allowed ourselves some extra time to get lost every now and again. It kind of became a recurring theme on my D’s audition trails…</p>
