Attention students: About the social life

To all who are wondering about social life, you will find your type of kids at USC. It’s a big school with diverse majors, many pre-professional. Who do you think majors in computer game design? Game-loving kids. Who populates Roski? SCA (Film School)? Theatre School? Artists, Film-lovers, Actors. If you want to do community outreach, there are so many clubs for that. It’s just the fact of life at a large and vibrant university in a liberal city like L.A. that you’ll find literally all kinds of kids. The top honor students who have turned down Stanford and Duke and Berkeley are here, too. If those are your peeps, you’ll find them at USC. You may need to peek out of your shell and get involved in activities that draw your crowd, but don’t worry. They are so welcoming when you show up to that first raquetball club meeting, or first a capella audition, or ski club trip.

No matter how scary it may seem to take this next step, you will do just great. There are future best friends waiting at USC. If you doubt this, just look back through the posts of the kids who applied here and were accepted. In most cases, you felt close to them as you went through the crazy status-update phase. And I doubt you cared or noticed what their ethnic backgrounds were. They were just future-Trojans.
