<p>American University has a blossoming Audio Technology/Production department. With brand new facilities including a custom Wunder Bar and and API 1608, the audio community is constantly handing successful and knowledgeable graduates to the real world. Examples of common courses that are taken by undergraduates are Music Business, Acoustics, Mixing & Mastering, and Live Sound. Internships are plentiful in the DC area, and there are many summer jobs that are offered across the country.</p>
