Auburn NMF Scholarship - not full tuition?

Auburn had to reduce it’s NMF scholarship to $15k towards tuition which costs $23,290.

That gap of about $8300 will grow each year as tuition increases each year. It’s unlikely Auburn would give additional scholarships to make up that difference.

So you’d have to pay for that difference plus the meal plan, books, and any misc costs yourself.

Also, Auburn’s NMF scholarship does NOT cover the cost of its Honors Super Suites. You’d have to pay an upcharge for that if desired.

also, Auburn’s NMF scholarship is NO LONGER assured for OOS students.

Alabama’s NMF scholarship DOES cover full tuition. It also covers the entire cost of the Honors Super Suites…plus you get other goodies.

Bama’s NMF offer is NOT competitive. It is given to EVERY NMF student. Bama has more money than Auburn does.

And…if you’re an Engineering or Comp Sci major, you’ll get an additional 2500 per year.

Have you looked at Alabama? Bama has a brand new mega-sized Science and Engineering Complex.

It is not too late to apply for Bama’s NMF scholarship…Bama gives leeway to NMF applicants. This fall, Bama had 182 frosh that were NMF. Bama has over 600 national scholars on campus.
