audio book suggestions for upcoming trip road trip

If you like English humor and aren’t traveling with young kids, “Good Omens” by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett is my new favorite book, and I’m told it’s awesome in the audiobook version. Be prepared for the unexpectedly sweet ending.

@GoatGirl19 I literally just started that audiobook, was a bit sad that it was not narrated by Mr. Gaiman. Looking forward to it ?

How about something New Englandish?

Some fiction ideas:
The Witches of Eastwick; A Prayer for Owen Meany; Empire Falls; Olive Kitteridge; A Separate Peace

Nonfiction: Walden; A Walk in the Woods; The Last Hurrah; The Perfect Storm

Elsewhere by Richard Russo was my absolute favorite traveling audiobook. Amazing writer and engrossing memoir.
