Joyfulmama- My D is a 2014 CCU grad. You can double major or minor, although to do so in 4 years you really will need to go in with AP/dual enrollment credits and probably even take some summer or online classes. My D took a couple of summer and online classes through our local community college while at CCU to free up time in her schedule for extra dance and theatre classes.
The BFA curriculum is very challenging! Some of the core classes, not so much. My D was in the Honors program, which she found was a good way to push yourself. There are scheduled honors classes every semester, or you can petition to have any class made into an honors class. You work with the professor to map out the extra honors requirements. You have to take one honors class each semester if I remember correctly, and do an honors thesis project. Honors program participants get to register first, and they get the chance to pick honors housing, which was a nice perk for freshman year.
