*Note that most auditioned BFA programs claim to be “Conservatory-style.” Check curricula carefully to ensure it meets what you are looking for - for example, hours in the major can vary from as low as 60 to more than 90, dance requirements can vary from 12 hours to more than 20, Gen Ed requirements can vary from 30 to 40+, etc. The label “Conservatory” is used very loosely.
All programs, even Boco and U Arts, require at least 24-30 hours of General Education courses in order to meet state-mandated requirements and regional accreditation requirements.*
