BA/BFA MT programs for dancers

^ We’ve been lucky in that her schools haven’t required additional applications / essays for scholarships (yet). SHe has been academically admitted basically everywhere and most with decent schollies (nice). Maybe she’s missing something in terms of eligibility for other scholarships that do require (although most of her schools that I’ve reviewed specifically state no additional application required).

When S went through admissions (not MT), he had lots of extra apps / essays to write but these were far more selective schools than his little sis.

Her big reality is getting all these nice offers without being admitted artistically (yet). Just need one to pop!

“My daughter said that she would does not have to be in a conservatory and would like to have the college experience. Area is not was important as long as it is not Iowa LOL. Price point is also important to us.” Definitely look at Montclair State in New Jersey. In state tuition for MTs who are out of state, leveled dance classes, possible to get dual degree in dance and MT. My D is a sophomore in the MT program and a dancer first. Happy to give you more info.

Wow! thank you all for the information. For a newbie - this helps so much and to know that there is a community out there for help is wonderful>
