So my freshmen year was a bad one due to health issues I am a sophomore with a 2.767 GPA right now(In high school) Hoping to land at the best universities I can(In Michigan) for Pre-Medical Preparatory studies
These were what I was looking at
University of Michigan
The University of Michigan-Flint
Albion College
Hope College
Kalamazoo College
Wayne State Med Direct Program
Grand Valley State
Michigan State University
Michigan Tech
Northern Michigan University
Ferris State University
Lake Superior State University
Any of these that would still look at my application even with a low GPA(I would Need a 4.05 GPA over 18 credits to even get a 3.5) would be great to know about
Any advice you could give thank you!!!

What are you looking for in a school?
You will not get into U of M - AA unless you get just about perfect grades from here on out AND get high test scores.
MSU is likely out as well.
Many of the rest will consider your application if you get your grades up, but until we know what your grades go up to and what your standardized tests look like.
As a sophomore, your number one job right now should be to get your grades up and maybe do some ACT or SAT tests.
Have you taken PSAT? Or how do you generally do on standardized tests?
I very rarely come on here now so if you want another response, please tag me
Stop trying to make you fit certain schools…find the schools that fit you.
Make sure you are getting all the help you can…here are ideas:

Keep in mind if you keep doing better in harder classes then Admissions will know you are capable of doing college work.
The first issue is to get your health issues straightened out and under control.
The next issue is to get far better grades NOW, and the rest of this year, and next year.
Then see where you stand.
Your freshman year of high school will be far less important than your sophomore and junior years of high school. If you are interested in “Pre-Medical Preparatory studies”, then you might some day be thinking of medical school. If this is the case, then you are going to need to learn how to be a far stronger student. You have time to do this, but you should start now.
I would not worry at all about your freshman year grades. Instead, focus on your sophomore year studies and the resulting sophomore year grades. Take it one day at a time and one week at a time, and see how it goes.
You may also be able to take a summer school class or two to replace some of those freshman grades. Worth looking into.
I Find Standardized tests fairly easy I got 1580 on my freshman PSAT and I am taking all AP/Honors from here on out.
