My son went for a job interview to California. Rented a car through Enterprise (he was under 25 at the time and they were the most reasonable price wise). He said yes to the extra insurance. The car got broken into while he was in a restaurant. They replaced car (broken window). A while later they sent him a bill for the damages saying he had not got the extra insurance. Turned out they had mistakenly not charged him for it. He had no idea - by the time they added this and that charge he just paid what they said. He went to the local enterprise place. They read the paperwork and called the CA location and told them it was their problem because he had clearly requested the insurance. End of the matter. So good and bad experience I guess.
