Bank of America Student Leaders

^Same here.

hey yea same here
it was empty…i am a bit worried
and apparently it was due at 11 PM?

anyone know if it was due at 11 PM because i can’t find it on their website and it makes no sense to make it due at 11 PM

Yeah it was due at 11pm eastern time. From the website:

ā€œApplications for our Neighborhood Excellence Initiative Student Leaders awards are accepted beginning January 1, 2010 through February 17, 2010 (11:00 p.m. Eastern Time).ā€

Yeah, that would’ve been 8 PM, California/Nevada/Oregon/Washington/Northern Idaho time.

BEST OF LUCK TO ERRYONE! (: I sincerely do hope I get in! I wonder if my market is competitive, but considering the fact it’s in California, most likely is.

Did anyone apply from the Inland Empire Market? I applied but I think I might get rejected :(

Why do you say that?

I applied in the Los Angeles market. -_-

Well because i was reading the other people that got accepted last year, and they sound like they did more than me. And 5 people out of each market? thats crazy . but i hope i might just get in :)

My market is pretty large and most likely fairly competitive (though nothing like the Bay Area would be). I doubt I’ll get in. Even if I get in I probably can’t do it. Oh well.

bleh I want to see the accepted applications from last year:)

turned mine in!
hope my recommender remembered!! i haven’t talked to her.

anyway I’m in the Los Angeles market I’m guessing
unless there’s one in Compton, which i doubt
it sounds competitive,

so when do we get to know???

they say the latest is may 22nd on their website, which seems so far away! But last year some people found out in April. Anyone else from the Philadelphia area market?

how many hours of community service did everyone put on the application??

@raiderade omg are you applying from Oakland, CA too?

Yeah this is super competitive =/
I think I had 400+ hours. Not sure though.

I really did not have many hours at all :frowning: I volunteer about 4 hours every week, but that’s just been going on this year, and I barely have anything from before that…I’m hoping the Detroit market won’t be too competitive and they like my essays :/

I’m applying to the Delaware market (I’d say 50% of my school has families from BofA which makes me hopeful since they can’t apply). I don’t have that many hours, but I helped to pilot a non-profit which I think should be helpful.

Hi Guys,
I’m from london and i sent my application off last week…
is there anyone else from london applying for the program?
Also, does anyone know what we will be doing should we get in? (the website doesn’t give much info…:s)

thanks :)

Anyone else from Orange County Market??
I just wonder how competitive it is…

@Arelygirl: I had almost 600 hours of community service on my application :D

I’m fairly excited. And scared. I’m in the Los Angeles market and I’m fairly sure that a millllion people applied.

My son applied to Orange County Market. Hope you both can make it…
