Hi! I’m kind of late to this train but I got an email yesterday asking for an interview. However, my friend who also applied HEOP hasn’t yet. My interview is sometime this week and I’m really nervous about it and I was wondering if anyone knew what was on it.
Hey well I’m not sure how they usually do it but I got an email on Feb 13 asking me to schedule a time and date to come in and I scheduled it for today. My interview was literally this afternoon and I’m still shaky and nervous lol
It is literally a 20 minute interview and it goes by super quick. They ask basic questions, the first being to tell them about yourself. Why do you want to go to Barnard? What makes you want to pursue a higher education? An academic challenge you have faced? What are your concerns on this program and so on. You will be fine. Stay calm and walk in friendly and collected. The interviewers are so nice too. I was so nervous and just focused on answering everything and on my interviewer even if I messed up a bit. Most importantly don’t forget to ask questions at the end. Good luck!!

I just received an email today for the interview and I scheduled it for next week Thursday. Does anybody else have any tips, or remember the questions they asked? In addition, does anybody know if there’s a dress code and is it hard to get admitted to Barnard HEOP? If it is and I end up getting rejected I’ll at least be happy with the fact that I made it this far lol I didn’t think I was going to.
I just got the email about decisions coming out this Friday and I still can’t stop shaking lol I’m so nervous.
Me too! I’m so scared, this is my dream school but hopefully we all get in.
All these days and I never got called in/emailed for an interview. The decisions are out tomorrow and I feel like I’m gonna get rejected. I dunno
Hey Guys! I got into Barnard ED Class of 2024 and getting an interview is a really good sign because I got called into one 2 weeks before the ED’s came out. I know how it feels to be nervous but just one more day and I wish the best for all of you!
