Thanks for this info! Our FAFSA SAI is almost 70,000 so we are only asking/qualifying for a small aid of 10k or so. But it is still important for us to receive it. We are still debating withdrawing financial aid. But it is getting really late and they might only take 2-3 more people off the wait-list.

We ended up withdrawing our financial aid request as you suggested. It might be late. But we still would like to try and see. Maybe my daughter might be the last one accepted from the waitlist. She is even thinking taking a gap year rather than attending the state school in Florida.
I’m rooting for your daughter to get into Barnard! I would even suggest emailing your local admissions officer to let them know you withdrew financial aid so they know before they close the waitlist.

Okay I’m not sure if you’re on this thread anymore lol but I paid my deposit like Sunday I was wondering if you’ve gotten any emails about housing or email setup or things like that yet? I haven’t.
I also paid my deposit on Sunday and haven’t received any emails about email/portal setup. I might call them to see when we can expect an email about that.
We received email today that my DD will not get off the waitlist. We did not send a LOI or any additional materials and were heavily relying on FA, so we knew that Barnard was not happening for us. My DD moved on a while ago and has committed to Berkeley on the opposite coast. Just thought I would let the thread know that rejection emails are out!

My daughter did not receive it. Hoping she will get the last ticket to Barnard She submitted 2 LOCI and 3 updates. She is currently committed to her state school in Florida. But she really really wants to go to Barnard.
When is the latest someone may get off of the waitlist? Also, since the waitlist is not closed yet, does that mean I still have a chance? I submitted a LOCI and I am requesting no aid.
Any updates? I am still hopeful even though it is almost August
