Whoa… Barron’s verbal is WAY harder than 10 Reals’!!! I consistently made 3-6 mistakes on Barron’s verbal, but on 10 Reals, I always got less than 2 wrong. Barron’s sentence completion is very easy though - the answer is always a word the sentence defines or a synonym of a word in the sentence. But, CR is hard. If you can do well on Barron’s CR, you’ll definitely ace the CR section of the real test.

FYI, I got 1520 my first round (750V) without having touched Barron’s practice tests, because I thought that the verbal portions were too hard. On my second try, however, after some prepping, I did the tests in Barron’s. Even though I still think they’re kinda hard, I got 1600 on the real test. So, you see, Barron’s overprepares you. Whatever score you get on Barron’s, you’ll get more than that on test day.
