I’m a Bates alum and my younger D’21 is looking at it as well. She’s a lacrosse player and is looking for a D3 NESCAC or similar school so she’s been visiting a lot of them.
We went up this past weekend for Back to Bates (homecoming) and I was blown away by the current school spirit and the updates all over campus with new dorms and buildings everywhere. Everyone was out having fun and enjoying the fall weather and watching the football game (or just hanging out near it with their dogs). Bates is a really fun place to spend four years and the community is very diverse and welcoming so I would encourage your daughter to check it out!
