AWLA is an event that takes place one a month (on the last Friday of the month) from 5:00pm to 8:30pm. Each event averages 500 people who attend to see and purchase local art. We curate a variety of established and ad-hoc galleries throughout downtown Lewiston. We also create an online gallery right here on our site to show off your work for people who want to “take a second look” after the Art Walk event.

We do this for you. This event was created with you, the artist in mind; by a committee of community members (many of whom are artists themselves). We want to bring your work to our community and we need your help to do it. We need your participation, whether you are an accomplished professional with a large portfolio or if you are an emerging experimental media sculptor or even if you are a student ofthe arts just starting out. Without artists willing to show their work we simply wouldn’t have an art walk!
