<p>I’m getting ready to have plantation shutters installed in our bathroom. I like the functionality of them - being about to open only the top slats or bottoms one or both. </p>
<p>Silpat- our bathroom cabinets are in najavo white and the trim is dover white. The shutters will be painted dover white.</p>
<p>Hardest thing is matching whites…no two are the same. Even ‘white’ paper is different company to company.</p>
<p>Gourmetmom - I love Roman shades, especially in powder rooms and bathrooms. So much style in such a small piece - they can really make the room. They don’t really fit my current house’s style, but I’m glad you brought them up as an option.</p>
<p>We have Roman shades in our bedroom, which I love, and while the fabric wouldn’t work in the bathroom, it’s a good idea in general. I have to discuss all these ideas with H, who has very definite opinions on decorating.</p>
