<p>I agree that theyre similar enough to skip doing both, just for me personally I love Econ and find it different enough from business to pursue it. Luckily Ross is highly regarded, but at most schools a business major can be seen as a “blowoff” field of study while Econ is perceived as analytical and more rigorous quantitatively. </p>
<p>Coupled with the fact that MBA and BBA programs are very similar, studying something else in undergrad can broaden your perspective on things. I’ll do both because I love Econ and the opportunities Ross provides. Hell maybe I’ll pursue a masters in Econ later in life.</p>
