I don’t know much about GW, but what I do know is negative because I’ve met 3 or 4 people who have transferred to BC from GW. If I can remember their main complaints, it was that GWU seemed like they cared about you at orientation and before school started, but once school started they kind of throw you to fend for yourself. Apparently there’s no real dining hall, and the dining hall is full of fast food restaurants and it’s closed at times you’d expect it to be open. The city was appealing to the people I met at first, but then it became a bother with safety. There were also some academic issues, but I can’t quite remember them. Anyway, I’m sorry that this is all I know because I’m sure there are people at GWU who really love it and could argue against all of these; obviously you will hear different things from people who transferred.

The DC area is much more exciting than Chestnut Hill, but Chestnut Hill is an area right on the border of Boston, which is an amazing college city. Doesn’t take long to get downtown, and you will literally see BC students all over Boston (wherever you go).

Good luck with the decision!
