<p>I applied to UD as undecided, but over the summer i decided i wanted to be an actuary. many UD alums have become actuaries. UD recommends you major in Mathematics & Economics (as I am), but I know people majoring in Statistics who want to be an actuary. although it might be better to go to a school with an actuarial science major, it is definitely possible to become an actuary if you come to UD. major isn’t everything – studying for the exams on your own matters a lot. good luck with whatever you decide!</p>
