Nothing better than crew…I regret that son had to back off due to…his back. Poor guy.

I came to love the sport and still do; those are the hardest working athletes at the Academy I’m thinking. At CGA it is known as the “Crew Cult.” Great bunch of kids, coaches and facilities. We manage to hold our own against the Big Boys in Division III year after year, Trinity, Wesleyan and Williams, who actively “recruit” which we do not.

HOCR is a great event. Go there sometimes folks even if you don’t know your quad from your four. Biggest party in Boston in October…great weather, bands, and food. Super atmosphere.

If you beat the CGA four that is saying something…they were Silver Medalists at last year’s National Invitational, the NCAA’s of small college rowing. Lost by hundredths of a second to Wesleyan I believe.

KPR I get where you are coming from on the spring aspect. But that is when rowing gets really good, head to head matchups.

Are you guys going to Shelton in a couple weeks? Best small head race in my not so humble opinion. I think I saw you there last year.
