<p>Tell him to forget about the “sweet tea”… if he really wants the ULTIMATE Long Island experience, tell him to gather up a few friends come a hot day in the spring, follow Rte 25A (Northern Blvd) about 15 miles to the east, stop at the (only) deli in Cold Spring Harbor (home of the world famous CSH DNA center) and ask for a “half and half”…it is just wonderful and nothing beats it anywhere!!! CSH is famous for them!!! </p>
<p>(by the way, its a great “little town” to visit if you are ever up this way and want somewhere to go…one of the oldest whaling villages on LI and quaint as can be!)</p>
