<p>I’m a BNS major. The program is really strong, and there are some good research and co-op opportunities. It’s also great for pre-meds because it covers all pre-reqs except physics.</p>
<p>You take tons of science (bio, chem, o-chem, calc 1 & 2, biochem, genetics), some psychology, and neuroscience courses. The psych classes I’ve had have all been pretty good and right now I’m in psychobiology which is the best class I’ve ever had, with easily the best professor I’ve ever had. </p>
<p>I don’t think it’s THE reason to attend NU, because I’m sure your other schools would have great programs as well. But we do have a good program, and at least for me, the fact that I get to co-op in the field is really, really exciting.</p>
