<p>Like any university, you’ll find people who may be insensitive (can I touch your hair?) but mostly it’s ignorance on those peoples’ part. Outright hostility just cuz you’re black? Less likely if ever. There are rude and snotty people – but they treat everyone that way. Among black students too. So you shouldn’t generalize, I’d say.</p>
